Tonight’s fall cocktail recipe is a much needed Thirsty Thursday cocktail. Nope, I don’t ever make cocktails, but I thought I’d give it a whirl, especially since I just got back from Vegas! Disclaimer: I don’t drink often and when I do drink it’s usually just a glass of nice French wine (Hey I warned you, I’m a snob).
I’m no “mixologist,” but this fall cocktail recipe I made awhile back, hit the spot! BUT if you don’t drink alcohol, don’t worry instead of the ginger liquor, use just a mix of fresh ginger and soda water, or ginger ale!
For this recipe, I used Bai 5, and if you don’t know, Bai 5 is an antioxidant infused drink. Is it soda? Is it water? Is it juice? Nope, it’s a drink of it’s own kind, but don’t worry, it is definitely refreshing, and tastes amazing. I was lucky enough to try a vast array of flavors and they all were awesome. You can purchase Bai 5 at any local health food store, select grocery stores, or on Amazon.
Cocktails and drinks aren’t your thing? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. Be sure to download my favorite fall recipes PDF!
They are all naturally sweetened and get the antixoidants derrived from coffeefruit and white tea. But never fear, these guys are super delicious, non gmo, refreshing, gluten free, soy free, BPA free, kosher, vegan, are low glycemic and free of artificial colors and preservatives, so they’re a great alternative to soda or other sugar packed drinks! Plus they are awesome in cocktails! Oh la la.
- 3 oz Congo Pear bai5 water (sub pear juice if needed)
- 1 oz Domaine de Canton Ginger Liquor
- ½ oz Gin
- 1 oz jasmine tea (chilled)
- juice of half a lemon
- 2 ice cubes
- Combine ingredients and shake in a mixer
- Serve with friends and snob away!
I’m no mixologist, but I think this cocktail is great, let me know what you think!
