Jeff and I are moving to Washington D.C. in just a couple months so we’re soaking up all that we can of Colorado..especially vegan Colorado! We’re in a big time crunch too because I’m going to Kenya for the summer for an archaeological dig and we’re moving cross country soon! So, we’re trying to do everything we can in a short time! Its sort of bittersweet, I’m excited to move to a new place, the east, but now that I’m leaving, I’m discovering these awesome spots in Colorado!
One of my new favorites is NOOCH vegan market located in the hip RiNo area in Denver. They’re a specialty market that sells vegan only goods, and the hard to find, vegan products.
They’re the only place in Colorado who sells V-Dog Food and Faux Gras! They also have a great selection of specialty vegan cheeses similar to non-vegan french cheeses! We picked up some great goodies!
V-Dog’s vegan dog food,
Treeline vegan cheese,
and the Denver Seitan Company’s corned beef and chicken seitan,
all of which were awesome! If I lived in Denver, I would be at NOOCH all of the time! Plus, if you get a chance to talk, talk with the owners, they are awesome! They’re super helpful and really nice! Go to NOOCH to get your vegetarian snob fixes you snobs! But really, if you’re ever in Denver, show them some support because they’re doing amazing things for the community! Give them your support! Plus they usually have a vegan food truck (yes vegan food truck!) outside of their shop! Just check out their Facebook page for more details!
